Brian is an enthusiastic celebrator of the diversity of human experience who loves music, dance, nature, dogs, bicycling, and most of all, fellowship with neighbors. He brings an engineer’s efficiency, data-driven practices, and a genuinely contagious passion to all he does: from serving as Director of CodeBoxx Academy and Founder of Blackburg Enterprises, to supporting Critical Mass bike rides and playing the sax on the Deuces for Artwalk.
After turning his life around following incarceration in 2020, he launched a successful career in coding. Now, he mentors others by offering accessible training, scholarships, and laptops. Passionate about second chances, Peret believes technology can transform lives, just as it did his.​​​
